Copyright permission fees are per student enrolled in a course, and are for a one-time use only. The one-time use includes a single printing of each document in the E-Packet if the student wishes to have a hard copy of the packet's contents. The pricing structure for academic year 2005-2006 is as follows:

• Copyright permission to use a case in an academic setting - $2.75
• Copyright permission to use a case in a non-academic setting - $5.30
• Copyright permission to use a note in an academic setting - $6.00
• Copyright permission to use a note in a non-academic setting - $9.00
• Copyright permission to use the Primer on Financial Accounting - $30.00
• Copyright permission to use Management Accounting for Managers - $30.00

If you are registered with us as a faculty member of an academic institution, we automatically discount the $5.30 non-academic fee for a case to the $2.75 academic fee, and discount the fee for a note from $9.00 to $6.00. Otherwise, you will see the non-academic fee on your E-Packet.

If you are a faculty member of an academic institution and do not see a discounted price, please send us the Web address of your university, and the link that will indicate your faculty status. If you are not employed full-time by a university, please provide us with whatever supplemental information is appropriate to allow us to verify your faculty status. Faculty status is important not only because it makes you eligible for the price discounts, but because you then may obtain teaching notes for those cases that have them. As you might imagine, we need to be very careful about granting academic status; otherwise, there is a possibility that students may obtain a teaching note.
